After about a hundred starts and stops on this painting I think it's finally done. No, it's done because I'm sick of looking at it. Miss Mod progress has been very slow due to everything else I seem to get involved with! I've got a few ideas from sketches to paint and those will be alot of fun to do. I'll post a sketch later tonight.

I like this one and I exactly know the feeling. :)
The only thing what I would do is just push back the saturation of the whole background a bit to pop up the main character more (but not a biggie). Actually its always a good idea to revisit a `finished` picture lets say 2-3 weeks later with a fresh eye and make the final touch then. :)
(most of the time I am to lazy to do it hah, but I feel definitely thats the way to go)
Awesome awesome awesome!
Except maybe you should make the lady a dude. Just a thought? Just kidding. Okay I'm not. Seriously she should be a dude. It's like a five minute fix.
BTW, I'm being sarcastic, the piece is awesome just the way it is.
How many hours did you log working on it?
Sweetness! Is this for a show or just for the pleasure of producing something unbelievably cool?
Fun! Do you do color or value studies before you start painting or do you just go for it? Just wondering, because I hate planning that stuff out.
I do a complete under paint in raw umber to set up the values/lighting. That way I don't have to think about color... til step 2!
awesome. :)
Reminds me of "Rascals In Paradise" by Jim Silke. Super-Duper!
That is quite a swanky pad.
