No I'm not in Cincy. I have been working at American Greetings for about 4 years now, so I am up in Cleveland. It's been a crazy 6 years since graduating. I interviewed with AG right out of college...they seemed interested, but then I was told they were on a hiring freeze. So for 2 years I lived at home in Cincy...worked at a Hollywood Video and place that prints blueprints for construction. I didn't really do anything art related for 2 years. I worked on my own stuff here and there...but I never really got anywhere. It was a terrible 2 years.
Then AG called me up out of the blue 2 years after interviewing with them...and I have been working there ever since. It's been a bit scary lately with the economy, but I'm still hanging on.
I actually saw a freelance job you did hanging up at AG a while ago - It was elves done in a Dr. Seuss style - very well done.

Hey, Groff. I went to CCAD and had you for Illustration portfolio way back in 2003. Great stuff on this blog. Looks like you're still going strong.
thanks Jason! I remember you- still in Cincy?
haha...I didn't think you'd remember me.
